About
Maybe you are coming to yoga with significant stress, tension, locks and / or weakness in the body? This was me too.
I lost connection with my body and myself - and yoga was the light that came through the cracks.
Now my body is my constant companion and guide through life. When experiencing stress, I can relax and help myself through.
We all go through struggles mentally, emotionally and physically.
Yoga is about giving ourselves love in those struggles - and not trying to be perfect!
The world often encourages us to disconnect from our bodies, our inner voice and the natural world around us. It’s my mission to give you a moment of reconnection and deeper peace in every class.
Through this reconnecting I love to see students find new optimism for life, and follow their heart to greater happiness.
My Training:
I am a Yoga For All Abilities Hatha Teacher, regularly training with Sonia Sumar and Renata Gaertner Sumar.
Sonia Sumar created the method Yoga For All Abilities in Brazil after her second daughter was born with Down syndrome in 1972.
Teaching yoga to children and adults with additional needs is not only incredibly joyful - it teaches so much about yoga beyond the poses!
I am blessed to work with so many wonderful souls.
If you’re interested in this part of my work please get in touch :)
